Metro 2033 Redux Mouse Fix

Okay Now I am starting to get really pisd off at Microsoft. First off Bioshock2 No longer works at all in windows 7 or 10 so I got really pisd off and broke all my windows Live games! Snapped the CD into pieces! Now Metro 2033 wont work at all! Why is it they can't seem to get shit to work with there new hardware and OS? Makes no fing sense at all to me, An old game should be just fine on NEW fing hardware and Operating system! After all a NEW OS SHOULD already have the fracking issues worked OUT!

As before, Last Light Redux’s gameplay is more exploration-focused and diverse than Metro 2033 (and includes bosses and more overt moral decisions), and it tells a more compelling story that.

So is this really it? I need new fracking games just because I got some new shit? Makes LITTLE LOGICAL SENSE!Any Ideas how to get my new crap to run old fracking software? Okay fixed and it works great too! It was the PhysX crap needed the new version of it got it installed it first then re-installed the game through steam and it is working perfectly! It also at first gave me this I ran in safe mode and then got into the game and it works now not an issue. The thing that happened to Bioshock2 has been going on since I installed windows7 windows live keeps failing to run no matter what I did even on my old Q9650 some thing went wrong and I crushed that disk only! I have Metro2033 and it's working perfectly. I have two systems, one with Win7, the other dual booting XP and 10. Works in all three no special configurations needed. The whatever the problem is likely isn't the games or Windows itself. It is very like to be a software misconfiguration(drivers), hardware fault, virus/malware infection or a combination of such.Regardless of the problem, you personally need to take things down a few notches in the intensity dept.

Snapping your games into pieces does not and will never solve any problems. Okay fixed and it works great too!

Bet you wish now you'd come here before breaking those discs. It's a good argument for going Steam vs retail disc though, not that discs are commonly even an option anymore. On Bioshock 2, sometimes save files can get corrupted, causing a crash on startup. To fix that you have to copy and save the save folder, then delete the newest save. The game can also crash in Dx10 mode.

For this it's recommended to increase the texture cache size. PCGamingWiki lists fixes for both these crash types. You just need to learn ways to deal with these kind of problems, as they WILL happen now and then on PC.

Once you do you'll go into diagnostic mode when something like this happens, instead of having a disc breaking meltdown. That said, sometimes it just takes patience. Sometimes a game will need to be patched, or a MS update will indeed bork something, but going into diagnostic mode often vents your frustrations long enough to cool down sufficiently and accept that there's nothing you can do but wait for a fix.It also helps to be patient before even buying the games, to glean any problems with playing them on forums first. Preventative maintenance is often the best.

Nite wow huge different on Metro 2033 Redux in performance I was getting between 40 - 90fps on the first part with all at max detail and advance PhysX on, but I keep SSAA off since it makes the game look blurry and hurts performance anyway. With the original metro 2033 I only got 15 - 20fps at the same beginning area.Only 0.5x SSAA makes it blurry, and this is because it renders the scene at half your resolution (multiplying by 0.5 is the same as dividing by two). 2x SSAA and above have no blur, but are much harder to run since they render the scene at several times your resolution. We're not gonna be able to run 2x SSAA or more on current gen cards at large resolutions lol. I doubt your GTX 770 gets 15-20 FPS in the beginning area in the non-Redux version, that seems too low?

Metro 2033 Redux's graphics look identical to Last Light. Some of the textures aren't great, though most are either 2048 x 2048 or 1024 x 1024 which is very nice. But like with Last Light and most other games, certain walls don't have parallax mapping applied to them when they should. Graphics aside, Metro 2033 Redux really does bring in the improvements from Last Light: the game is so much more interactive now. You can really interact with almost everything in the environment; random doors, switches, lights, etc.

They've added a lot more detail. The one thing I dislike is that Metro 2033's knife hasn't returned, it's like Last Light where you can't equip the knife. Nite The framerate is low on the original 2033 because of the volumetric lighting, Redux version removed it.That's true but I don't recall getting 15-20 FPS on a GTX 680. The volumetric effects were horribly optimized though, the Crysis games have at least as many volumetric effects and didn't run as badly. EDIT: The volumetric effects are still there, but they're just used to a much lesser extent. EDIT #2: I think the abnormally low res textures are bugged, because I've seen a lot of texture pop-in, even up close. SirJamesDTech It could very well be I'm just not very good at games, but this seems a lot harder even on normal difficulty than the 2010 original.

How on Earth are you guys able to do those Ranger and Ranger Hardcore modes?I don't know, Ranger Hardcore never felt really hard. You die very, very quickly but enemies die more quickly too. I've played way harder games so I suppose I'm conditioned for it. But I hate how Ranger Hardcore has an invisible inventory. Also 2033 Redux has some frustrating moments, one on Dead City in particular when you get swarmed by demons. I'm remembering why the first time I beat Metro it was only in hour-long clips at a time. Not a title I can sit down and hang with for 5 hours. Not a title I can sit down and hang with for 5 hours.Yeah that part with the demons is quite dumb, since there's like four or five of them and you can't fight back. Getting past that is just luck really, one time Bourbon already began to boost me over the wall but a demon still grabbed me and flew me away. I also tend to play games like Metro (linear with chapters) in shorter sessions. 1-2 chapters at a time for me. That said, they succeeded in making Survival mode true to the original 2010. BTW for those looking to toggle the FOV (since there's no darn slider):. UsersusernameAppDataLocal4A GamesMetro 2033 Reduxuser.cfg. Edit this file with Notepad.

Control + F to bring up the search function and look for 'fov'. This uses vertical field of view so use to get your desired fov.

I set mine to 59 at my 1080 resolution to get 90 for FOV. Fbmbirds Looking for the Stalker Games Redux version coming out later this year.Hahahahha! Martinch Is this a 'hope', or do you have information that they are actually doing this? I did try a quick Google, but that obviously returned pages relating to the mods.

It's not happening, not officially anyway. GSC isn't exactly capable of making games right now. I guess you could say S.T.A.L.K.E.R. Lost Alpha is Shadow of Chernobyl Redux. Their modding potential is why there would have never been an official remake of them.

Metro 2033 Redux Fov

Boredgunner Nite( all SSAA does is double or quad the monitor resolution)That's still doing a lot, although SSAA does even more than that. You're describing 2x and 4x downsampling. Supersampling is basically this except it applies AA filters before sampling the scene back down to your resolution. The end result is spectacular since it removes practically all aliasing. Then again aliasing is not a huge issue in the Metro redux games and original Last Light, most can live without it.yep Thats because 4A games has a hidden AAA setting thats always on in redux, the config file has this as well as a few other options not in the game menu. Nite yep Thats because 4A games has a hidden AAA setting thats always on in redux, the config file has this as well as a few other options not in the game menuRegular Last Light had it too, it's a shader-based AA like FXAA/SMAA that's actually acceptable.

By the way, I just started Last Light Redux and the graphics are worse than the original. The tessellation is almost entirely gone, now only found on valves/wheels. Ambient occlusion may be worse though I'm not entirely sure.

Seems like a waste of money.
